Seven things happen to a photograph in an elementary year

Nothing matches both of those, and that is a real answer. Some combinations do not exist in an elementary school. Anything on the open web, for instance, does not land in a particular season — it is closed in all four of them.
The one that is closed in every column
Set the audience to anyone on the open web and you will find one entry, marked closed, sitting in all four parts of the year. That is not a gap in our list.
It is what an elementary roster means. Every student in the building is under thirteen, so the block applies to all of them, all year, regardless of what the August packet said. There is no season in which it lifts and no form that unlocks it.

Why the year is the right way to look at this
Most software for schools is organised by feature. A front office is not organised by feature; it is organised by what is due this week. So this list is the calendar rather than the module list, and the ordering is deliberate.
August is where the year is decided. Almost every difficult conversation in March traces back to a form collected in August that nobody attached to anything. It is the least photographic item on the list and the one with the largest effect on everything after it.
Autumn is where the volume is. Picture day, retakes and the composite are two weeks of concentrated work with a hard external deadline, and they are the part a studio usually runs. What the school controls is the list they run against.
Term time is where the habit is. The classroom year accumulates quietly and is the collection most likely to end up somewhere nobody chose. It is also the one that no procurement decision will fix, because it depends on whether teachers use it.
The district view runs underneath all of it. It is the part principals think about least and superintendents think about most, which is worth knowing before the meeting.
What this list is not
It is our description of our own capability, and it contains nothing about any student anywhere. There are no children’s photographs on this site, no example records and no sample of anybody’s roster. Nothing you type into the address bar reaches what you are reading.
A demonstration against your own roster is a different thing entirely. It is real setup work, it happens after a conversation with a person, and it is not something a website can do for you.
